Geographic Information Systems
Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a spatially-oriented basis for integrating various types of data, is a key element to informed decision-making. Experience shows that effective management of infrastructure, natural resources, environmental status and territories in general, depends entirely on the integrative capabilities of GIS. Today, several of Kazakhstan’s major oil companies rely on information systems developed by our company based on GIS/DBMS technologies. Among these are:
- Development and introduction of corporate geographic database for “MangistauMunaiGas” – 2002
- Development of Compliance Monitoring System based on GIS/DBMS for “KarazhanbasMunai” – 2002
- Development of geographic database for current and historical status of ecological environment for “Agip KCO” - 2004, 2006, 2008
- Development of corporate geographic database for industrial infrastructure of “Exploration-Production “KazMunaiGas” - 2004-2007
