The 4th Asia-Pacific Forum on Adaptation to Climate Change (APAN)

The 3-day 4th Asian-Pacific Forum on Adaptation to Climate Change (APAN) was completed on the 3rd of October in 2014.
The Forum is organized by the Asian Development Bank in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the Global Environmental Strategies institute and other partners.
The forum gathered more than 500 participants from the Asian region countries in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, to discuss issues related to climate change, adaptation and mitigation measures, in particular how to become more effective in addressing development problems in a changing climate, and planning further Actions in the field of adaptation to climate change. The Forum Participants were various level representatives of government, business, leading experts, public and academic figures from the Asia-Pacific region.
